  1. Shows the volumes size DeskTape will use when initializing the next tape.

  7. Array capacity multiplier. This is how many times bigger DeskTape will make the tape volume. Consult with Optima before changing this item.

  9. Different versions of Mac OS have different maximum supported volume sizes. For maximum compatibility, choose the smallest volume limit possible.

  11. Turning ON compression increases capacity and performance. Keep in mind that tape drives that do not have built-in hardware data compression cannot read tapes that were created with compression ON.

  13. Your drive does not support DDS-DC hardware data compression.
